When the first birthday cake was made in 1957 for a neighbor, word quickly spread that Dorothy Smith was "The Cake Lady".  1973 opened up a new wave of excitement when she made her 1st wedding cake for her daughter, Beverly. Each Dot Smith cake was a slice of you love you could "feel" and take with you.  When Beverly Anne (Smith) Coleman took the helm, the assortment grew focusing on accessible & refined desserts covering all special occasions.  In 2005, we began partnering with clients to plan, decorate, and supply the necessary items to add a touch of class to events.
